Marcia’s practice is concentrated in commercial and real estate law, including acquisition, construction-related financing, leasing, exchange transactions, title insurance, and conveyancing. She represents real estate developers, business owners, and private lenders as well as persons with complicated real estate matters including zoning, planning, and subdivision issues, securing approvals at local and state levels. Marcia has represented clients before Town Boards throughout southern Maine and in Augusta.
Marcia received both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Business from Husson College where she was selected by professors for Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. She received her Juris Doctor from Franklin Pierce Law Center where she continued a focus on business with intellectual property issues in copyright and trademark. Prior to attending law school, she worked for 10 years as a paralegal for Warren M. Turner, Esq. in Yarmouth, Maine. Marcia is admitted to practice law in both Maine and Massachusetts. She has served with the Volunteer Lawyers Project in developing their consumer hotline, and serves as the Chairman of the Raymond Town Office/Library Building Committee.
Marcia is a Maine native who grew up in Cape Elizabeth and now lives in Raymond, where she enjoys her Donzi on Big Sebago.
