Debbie practices commercial civil litigation, focusing in the areas of construction law, and probate and real estate litigation. She serves as an arbitrator, as a member of the American Arbitration Association Roster of Neutrals. She is admitted to practice before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, the United States District Court for the District of Maine, the First Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Customs Court and is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association. She has lectured on litigation techniques in state and federal courts. Debbie has been selected for inclusion in the latest edition of The Best Lawyers in America for Construction Law.
Debbie received an A.B. from Bowdoin College (magna cum laude, 1975) and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (1978).
She is a member of the Board of Directors of Maine Life Care Retirement Community, Inc., Maine’s first continuing care community. She is a past member of the Board of the YWCA and the United Way Allocation Committee. She regularly volunteers in the Cape Elizabeth School system, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
